sound of freedom – This was a great set up. I loved being able to customize the set up. Only issue I had was my own fault as a newb to building these. I used a heavy barrel in a slim hand guard. It makes adding attachments tough with clearances. Hoping someday to also get an AR10 from here.
I purchased recently for my first AR build the 10″ GS3 handguard and the 10.5 5.56Nato barrel. Everything fit perfectly with an Anderson upper. The gun seems to be working flawlessly as well.Really quality finish and so far, loving the Mid State crew’s stuff. Thanks for being reasonably priced, and very open with communication. Allen has been helpful with this first purchase! Thanks again, I have a good buddy building 2 ARs currently and recommended Mid State for parts!
