Great customer service – I have been contemplating ordering this 24 inch 223 Wylde Upper for almost 6 months. Finally decided to pull the trigger. This Upper has exceeded my expectation. This upper is very accurate and feeds without a hitch. Shot .75 to .50 inch, 5 shot groupings using my already proven semi-auto loads. More than likely do better once I tweak the loads a little. I wish I had bought this earlier. Awesome Job!! and Quick Delivery!!
24” Upper – I recently purchased this with a 24” barrel. I requested the 12” quad rail come on it. I was very impressed when they called me and confirmed everything and even more impressed with the upper! Will definitely be using mid state again!
Not impressed, but not happy either – My upper came with rust spots somehow on the SS fluted barrel. Also the PVD coated bolt carrier and charging handle came literally stuck in the receiver which took quite a bit of lubrication, smacking around on surfaces, and patience to get dislodged from the upper reciever. Wish I could upload pictures to show it more accurately. I would expect this kind of thing if I had bought a “grab bag” option but not when I specifically order something. So I kinda feel middle of the road on this purchase. Lets see how it performs on the range later before I make my final decision.
24 inch 223 wylde – Parts arrived fast. Fit and finish looks amazing. Fluting was a+. Now once i get thermal on it. And get it sighted in, i will put a better review down. The build is gonna be a tripod night thermal gun. Its a heavy one.
Rather Dope – I really like this upper because it feels like an absolute long range groundhog repeller. I have yet to scope it, but hope to set it up for tack driving. I always wanted a blued upper, but the stainless steel adds a nice look to it. I’m glad I invested in this option. 5 stars because I haven’t had problems with it thus far.
