These may or may not have blems or scratches. They may or may not have been submerged in a tragic boating accident. Some may need parts replaced. Maybe one had a bad gas ring and we tossed it in the ‘bad’ pile. Maybe some need ejectors or extractors replaced. Maybe some need the gas key drilled out a bit. Maybe some gas keys need staking. Maybe some need a new firing pin. Some may need the bolt lugs polished. Some might work just fine. Generally these came about because it didn’t pass our function test due to an issue and we tossed it in the ‘shit bolts’ box.
Basically we are selling these at our loss so you can tinker with them as a fun project or use them for spare parts, and we make some room at the shop. win-win / yay.
Note: This is a ‘u fix it’ item. no guarantees on these.
Note 2: If you purchase one of these with one of our complete upppers, we’ll check headspace but we won’t guarantee any further functionality with this bcg. If you’re buying one of our uppers, we’d recommend This BCG instead.
Lube and inspection is recommended. As with all new builds, checking headspace is recommended.
Not worth the money – I expected some wear or slight blemish when I ordered my bolt. What I didn’t expect was rust so bad that it pitted the metal. The steaking on the carrier key looked like it was someone’s first day on the job. The bolt itself barely moves because of some type of poor machining. I don’t mind buying something with cosmetic issues or in need of minor repair, but non-functional is what I got. Because of the return policy, it went right in the trash. I learned a lesson today.
Excellent quality appears near new
Excellent! – Absolutely amazing deal, have yet to try it out but cannot find the blem anywhere!
This is a Blem? – Looks like a standard BCG. Found the blem mark on it and it’s the size of a head of a pin. Damn good deal.
Blemished – Damn good looking bolt. Cleaned righted up fires as needed. So blemished what and where. I recommend.
